YOUNG JEEZY ARRESTED
Jeezy was arrested for a DUI, speeding, reckless driving, no tags, driving with an open container, and no proof of insurance. The rapper was released on bail and is due back in court on June 17.
Jeezy’s legal counsel Scott E. Leemon, Esq. released the following statement:
“Last night, at approximately 2:30am, Young Jeezy was pulled over by the Atlanta Police Department shortly after leaving the studio to work on his new album, The Recession. After being charged with various automobile related offenses, Jeezy was quickly processed and released. A court date has been scheduled and Jeezy looks forward to getting the matter resolved.”

According to ThatGrapeJuice, the album has a tentative working title of “He Raps, He Sings”.
T-Pain said that him and Wayne had already recorded several songs and would be finishing the bulk of the record in October. Timbaland is being tapped to produce the majority of the album.
“Thr33 Ringz” is due in stores September 30.

Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Honsou are “kind of” engaged, she says.
When photographers asked the designer, 33, and the actor-model, 44, to kiss on the red carpet at the Bel Air home of Maria and William Bell for Wednesday’s third annual Loveday celebration hosted by Cartier, Simmons opted for a snuggle instead.
“That was more like a nuzzle!” she said.
So, are the two – who first metin February 2007 – engaged? “Kind of,” Simmons replied.
Asked if Honsou had given her an engagement ring, Simmons was equally forthcoming – and evasive. “Well, kind of,” she said, “not quite.”
Once inside the party, Simmons explained their attendance by saying, “My honey created a bracelet last year, and we’re here for [the orphans’ charity) sos children, and we’re really good friends and supporters of Cartier and their charitable initiatives.”
Besides, she said, “It seemed like a great time to have fun and see lots of friends.” And, with a good cause involved , too boot, “there’s nothing better than that.”
